Who Is Good Samaritan Charity, Inc.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have no home to go to? No place to lay your head at night or where you next meal is coming from? In 2008 April Johnson decided to answer these and many other questions for a group of people know only as Unaccompanied Youth here in Brown County.
Good Samaritan Charity, Inc. was founded in 2003 and began serving the homeless and hungry through a car donation program. Since then it has given financial assistance to organizations such as Paul’s Pantry, and Freedom House Ministries.
In 2008, Good Samaritan was turned over to April Johnson (Strom) to become the new President.
April has had seven years of non-profit experience including two years working for Freedom House Ministries as Community Relations Director and she has just completed a year as a missionary with Young Community where her focus was working with teens.
